Biography

Artist's Statement:

My work starts out as an explosion of energy and color, something between graffiti and the Action Painting of the Abstract Expressionist movement.

I then edit and layer, both color and line, refining and saving only the purest most essential strokes and movements. It is my intention to capture a very simple and powerful flow. This flow may manifest in waves or color vibrations. Part of this is a result of my love of the sea and part of it is residue from my musical studies. I want to paint paintings that have depth and power, that have life and resonate a positive energy that does not take from the viewer, but facilitates contemplation and meditation.

For me, my paintings are like good friends, I never get tired of their company and I am always happy to see them.
